Artist, Amanda Plavan, was born in Las Vegas, NV, and has lived in the Cleveland area for the past 14 years. She has studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, Cleveland State University and the Cleveland Institute of Art. She uses a wide rage of media to create her art including: pencil and ink, paint and clay. Her most recent inspiration is her son, Liam. Another consistent inspiration are the jazz musicians, including her father, who she grew up listening to. Her style ranges from whimsical to realistic.
